When The Artist won the Oscar for Best Picture, the dog from the movie was included in the cast and crew brought onstage. Does this mean that if War Horse had won they would have brought on the horse?
If the final award presentation featured a horse and Benedict Cumberbatch on the stage, it would have improved the Oscar broadcast immeasurably. War Horse wasn’t the best movie nominated (though I thought The Descendents and Hugo were both better than The Artist), but now I’m sad that it didn’t win.
This is the greatest thought.
