“Belle Approaches” by Stephan Martiniere
They have hand numbered print 3 of 195 of this at California Adventure in the Off The Page store. Every time I go there I try to get a chance to look at it. I think it is gorgeous.
It costs $995, which I definitely do not have.

“I absolutely despise that Mulan is considered an Official Disney Princess! She is not of royal blood nor did she marry a prince.”

My feelings are the exact opposite. I love that Mulan is a princess, and wish that Disney would expand the franchise to include more non-princesses. Being a part of the Princess franchise gives your movie and characters a longevity they might not otherwise have, because the Disney Princess Franchise is one of the most heavily marketed and merchandised things for little girls out there.
Because of that, I wish it had a greater diversity of stories to choose from. I wish it included Lilo and Wendy and Alice.
I think it’d be better if little girls were given more options as to what dolls they could love and what their heroes are allowed to be.
But that’s my take.

This Is How I Would Vlog 01: In Want of Heroes.

In which I talk about something that’s been weighing on my mind a lot recently. How many heroes do our girls have to look forward to for the upcoming duration of their childhoods?

Transcript for this video available here.

I made a vlog. Finally.
