Ever since I read Stranger in a Strange Land when I was fourteen, my response to all love triangles (or quadrangles or whatever) is just “How about they all achieve inner peace and share water and form a mutually committed community of free love where everyone sleeps with each other.”
It makes it hard to join ship wars.
