Um. Probably. Um. 

Um. 

Okay, so TRC Sakura went through so much shit, and she did such brave, difficult things and there’s some part of me that feels like I should choose her, because objectively if you were to list their accomplishments and struggles, I think TRC Sakura would win. And in a way, despite the absurd complexity and WTFery of that series, something about TRC Sakura feels more grounded and relatable and real.

But I just love CCS and think it’s flawless and think CCS Sakura is so exemplary and good and kind in this way that feels really incorruptible, you know? She’s just so good, and there’s nothing cynical about her, she really believes in the goodness of people (okay, well, they both do. They aren’t that different), and I just want her to have all the good things. 

Also, while TRC was one of my first really active fandoms (lol capturedwings, lol), CCS was a lot more formative of me as a person, I think. 

So CCS Sakura wins. It might be a bit of a nostalgia win, and it is a very slim one, but there it is.
